Poser 398 – High Court minute book, 1654

This week's poser is taken from the High Court minute books and is dated the 7 February 1654 (National Records of Scotland, JC6/4 page 90). It is a list of accused and plaintiffs with notes by the clerk on those standing caution.

There are some contractions and the clerk is clearly writing in haste as some letters are barely formed.
