Poser 395 – Account of the expenses at a funeral in Aberdeen, 1727

This week's poser is taken from a testament inventory. It is an account of the expenses at a funeral in Aberdeen in 1727 (National Records of Scotland, CC1/6/11 page 2331).

As with much 17th century handwriting, the letter forms are much closer to modern forms than earlier writing, but there are still some secretary hand letters and tricky capitals to slow you down. Some of the words will be unfamiliar. Watch also out for abbreviations.
