Poser 377 - Burial Register, Rayne Parish, 1785

This week's poser is taken from a burial register among the records of Rayne kirk session (National Records of Scotland, CH2/310/4).

The session clerk's hand is quite neat and quite modern and the main problems occur where poorly formed capital letters, especially elaborate letters interfering with the lines below, make the reading of place names and personal names difficult.
