The Braes of Perthshire by keeping Fox hunters and laying
down a regular Plan which is herewith produced, have intirely
Banished the Foxes and the People are enabled to keep out their Sheep
all Night, which has raised the Quality of them to double the Value
of what they were some years ago.

That Corner called the Black Isle is Inhabited by a Sett of
People distinct as to Names, Manners and Customs from the rest
of that Country. They have been time immemorial a Manufacturing
People and are Supposed to have been brought into the Country
by the Bishops of Ross, they have no Tradition at what Period
they were brought, nor from whence they came.
There is hardly a Person in Ross-markney of Fortrose who
is not a Weaver.
